Vijay's not happy with Gautham Menon's Yohan script

Vijay
and
Gautham
Menon's
Yohan:
Adhyayam
Ondru
created
waves
when
the
project
was
announced.
The
movie
started
generating
expectations
once
the
photoshoot
was
done
and
the
hunt
for
the
leading
lady
begun.
But
recently,
there
came
a
surprising
news,
which
claimed
that
the
film
was
on
the
back
burner.
Now,
the
reason
being
said
for
the
delay
is
that
the
director's
script
did
not
impress
the
Velayudham
star
that
has
temporarily
halted
the
upcoming
film.
If
reports
are
to
be
believed,
Gautham
Menon
had
plans
to
make
Yohan
a
stylish
movie
shot
at
exotic
locales
of
the
UK.
His
script
emphasised
much
on
lavish
quotient
than
the
content.
This
made
Vijay
to
have
the
second
thought
about
the
project.
The
actor,
who
had
heard
the
summary
of
the
story,
felt
that
the
subject
might
not
be
liked
by
his
fans,
as
he
enjoys
a
large
rural
fan
following.
Hence,
he
asked
the
filmmaker
to
rework
on
the
second
half
of
the
proposed
project.
Now,
it
is
not
sure
whether
Gautham
Menon
will
rework
on
the
script,
as
he
always
loved
to
make
films
in
his
own
way.
It
may
be
recalled
that
the
director
and
the
actor
had
discussions
on
Kaakha
Kaakha
but
their
differences
made
them
part
ways,
finally
the
project
fell
into
the
laps
of
Surya,
who
register
a
major
hit
with
his
film.
