Vijay turns encounter specialist for Thupaki

The more we try to keep something in secrecy, the more likely we are to reveal that very thing. Well, we are referring to AR Murugadoss and his Thupaki team, who have been trying their best not to reveal details about Vijay's character in the forthcoming movie. The latest to hear about his role in the upcoming film is that the actor will be donning the role of a cop again.

Well, it would not be a surprising as we have heard it before. The interesting part is that Vijay will be seen as an encounter specialist with license-to-kill attitude. After Pokkiri, he is enacting the character of a special police officer, who wants to clean up the scum of the city. However, the major part of the story is set in Mumbai. The 40-day schedule of shooting has been completed and the second schedule will resume once the on-strike is called off.

Thupaki, which also features Kajal Aggarwal, is produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu. While Harris Jayaraj composed the music, Santosh Sivan will handle the camera. It is expected to hit the screens in June 2012.
