Vishwaroopam-Maattrraan heading towards Box Office clash?

It seems this Navaratri there will be a clash of titans at the Tamil Box Office. Two big movies are likely to release on the same date and they will battle it out for the supremacy at the collection centres. Well, the clash is between none other than Surya's Maattrraan and Kamal Hassan's Vishwaroopam.

It is well-known that Maattrraan would be released on October 12, but now the makers of Vishwaroopam have decided to release the film on the same day. The Kamal Hassan starrer film has already been delayed and they do not want to further postpone the film. They are working hard to deliver the product in October second week, claims a report.

Vishwaroopam will have a much bigger release than Maattrraan, as it is releasing in three languages including Hindi. The Bollywood version has not been dubbed rather it is straight film. On the other end, Maattrraan is simultaneously releasing in Tamil and Telugu.

Kamal Hassan, Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah and Rahul Bose starrer Vishwaroopam is a spy-thriller produced and directed by Kamal himself. The film is extensively shot in the United States, Canada, Chennai and Mumbai.

Whereas, Maattrraan starring Surya and Kajal Aggarwal is an action-thriller featuring the Ghajini star in dual roles (Siamese twins). The major portion of the film is shot in the Balkan region in countries like Croatia, Serbia, Albania, Macedonia and other places.
