Yami Gautham injured on Gouravam sets

Actress Yami Gautam, who is making her Tamil debut in Gouravam, met with a bike accident on the sets of the movie. While shooting a song sequence for a Tamil movie in Hyderabad, the actress injured her legs.

The 28-year-old actress, who rose to prominence with her debut Hindi film Vicky Donor, has sustained leg injuries. Reports say that everyone on the sets panicked and a doctor was called immediately. Since the shoot had to be completed, Yami asked the doctor to give her some high dose of medicines so that she could resume the shoot in two hours.

Confirming the incident, Yami said, "Yes I met with a small accident during a bike sequence for the film and ended up injuring my leg. Luckily, we had a doctor on stand-by so it was attended immediately. The cast and crew were very supportive."

Yami Gautam, who had earlier acted in Kannada movie Ullasa Utsaha, is foraying into Tamil cinema with Gouravam. The upcoming movie marks the debut of newcomer Allu Sirish, the son of producer Allu Aravind and young brother of actor Allu Arjun. It is directed by Radha Mohan and produced by Prakash Raj.
