Heartbroken Cheran Opens Up
Tamil film director-actor Cheran, is facing a tough time from past few days. Actor's daughter Damini has filed a complaint against him, alleging that her boyfriend Chandru is been threatened by the men hired by her father.
On Sunday, talking about the issue Cheran brokedown in the press conference. In his latest interview to leading news portal, disturbed Cheran said, “I have been avoiding calls on this issue as I fear that this will depress me if I keep on talking about it. I am facing a personal crisis and I'm not thinking about anything other than my daughter at the moment.”
Actor Cheran said, how he cannot be heart broken at this moment? Can any father handle this case easily? He also added that he didn't use his power anywhere, but he is trying to solve the problem legally, and hoped for the justice.
Reportedly, Cheran daughter Damini fell in love with Chandru, a dancer in the TV reality show. Damini told the court that she wants to live with Chandru's family.

Cheran And Selvarani
Cheran claims that Chandru has cheated many girls earlier and police had registered a case against him. Cheran said, “Chandru wanted to act in movies, and we suspect that he has been making use of my daughter to get into films. He wanted to become a hero in my movie and wanted me to recommend him to others.”

Talking about his daughter, Cheran said that his daughter is just 20 and she is not in the mind to understand anything.

Director Ameer who accompanied Cheran to press conference alleged Chandru and said, “KK Nagar police had earlier registered a case of cheating against Chandru. The case was later settled. We have gathered information about many such cases. There is enough evidence to show that Chandru's character is questionable,"

Cheran has thanked all his friend from the film industry, who all have called and spoken with him. Actor said, “Their support and words are like heart transplant for me.”

Cheran of Autograph fame said that, he is handling the issue just as any normal father would do, he is not a hero like in the movies to tackle the problem overnight, and he is struggling hard to provide a good life to his daughter.
Chandru
On August 4, Police registered FIR against director Cheran based on complaint filed by his daughter Damini and Chandru under information technology act for harassing Cheran's elder daughter online.
