Aishwarya Dhanush's Next Vai Raja Vai

Aishwarya Dhanush, daughter of superstar Rajinikanth, started filming her second Tamil directorial titled Vai Raja Vai, in Chennai, today, September 12, 2013. Her directorial debut was Tamil romantic drama 3 featuring her husband Dhanush.

"A new day, new film (and) new beginning. (I'm) off to the sets of 'Vai Raja Vai'! Wish me all the luck and your best my tweeple family. (I) need it all," posted Aishwarya on her Twitter page.

Vai Raja Vai features Gautham Karthik and Priya Anand in the lead roles. Comedian Satish will also feature in an important role, while the rest of the cast will be soon finalised. The film is produced by AGS Entertainments, while Yuvan Shankar Raja has been roped in to compose tunes.

Soundarya Rajinikanth, who is directing Rajinikanth starrer Kochadaiyaan, has made her time to wish her sister Aishwarya Dhanush. She tweeted, "Here's wishing my sister aishwaryadhanush, gauthamkarthik and archanakalpathi & the whole unit of #vairajavai all the very best!Rock on Aisu!"

Aishwarya Dhanush's directorial debut 3, was a big success in Kollywood. The movie had Dhanush, Shruti Hassan, Prabhu and Sivakarthikeyan in the important roles. It gained high anticipation due to the viral marketing of the song 'Why this kolavari?' It also marked the debut of music scorer Anirudh Ravichander. (Inputs from IANS)
