Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to romance Rajinikanth again!

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who started her acting career in Tamil films in Mani Ratnam's Iruvar, is ready to return to Kollywood again. The actress, post her pregnancy, is all set to make her comeback this year with a movie, which will be simultaneously made in Tamil and Hindi. Well, the Bachchan bahu is all set to romance superstar Rajinikanth in KV Anand's next film.

Sources say that Eros International, which is heading towards South with forthcoming movie, will be producing the film. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was recently approached by KV Anand and the actress was impressed with the script. After a few rounds of talks, she gave a nod to act in the movie, which will see Rajinikanth in dual roles.

Kamal Jain, group chief financial officer-India, Eros International Media, had said earlier that they have signed a deal with Rajinikanth for the third movie after forthcoming Kochadaiyaan and delayed Rana. The next movie would be helmed by KV Anand.

"We have taken a lead in Hindi industry and we want to create the same footprint in Tamil. We want to capture the Tamil market by making at least three-four films a year," the Economic Times quoted Jain as saying. Continue reading the story on the slideshow....

Sources add that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be doing a never-before role in the film. The film is expected to be made in the Rs 100-crore league like Rajinikanth's forthcoming movies.
