Ajith's loss, Vijay again!

AR Murugadoss, who delivered a sensational hit last year with Vijay in Thuppakki, will be working with the Ilayathalapathy again. The director has confirmed the news and has said that they had a discussion a few days ago.

The 7aam Arivu maker has said that they have decided to team up once again after the successful outing Thuppakki. However, he has claimed that it would not be a Thuppakki 2. Apparently, it is said that the film was first offered to Ajith Kumar but Thala, who had given signal to it, could not allot the dates in the current year.

That left AR Murugadoss, who wants to start the project this year itself, to look out for the other options and Vijay was first among them. However, other details are being worked out as both the actor and director are busy with their respective projects.

It has to be noted that the Velayudham star has to complete Thalaivaa and Jilla before starting the Murugadoss movie.
