Alex Pandian, KLTA's UK-US Box Office report

Negative response for Karthi's Alex Pandian seems to have hit the film badly, as the Tamil film could not do great business at UK and USA. The film, which was released on January 11, has not made expected collection in the opening weekend. The other release, Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya has made decent collection in limited number of screens.

In the first two days, Alex Pandian has earned £15,412 (Rs 13.63 lacs) in 11 screens at UK Box Office. The average per screens stands at £1,401 (Rs 1.23 lacs). The Tamil film made $7,293 (Rs 6.39 lacs) on the release day but the following day the business dipped, as it collected $7,062 (Rs 6.19 lacs) on Saturday.

Whereas, Santhanam and Powerstar Srinivasan's Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya has raked in £5,288 (Rs. 4.68 lacs) in 3 screens. The per screen average stands at £1,763 (Rs 1.54 lacs) at the UK Box Office.

When it comes to the US, Alex Pandian has made $16,542 (Rs 9.02 lacs) in 12 screens and the per screen average stands at $1,379 (Rs 75.19 thousand). On the other end, Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya has collected $23,840 (Rs 12.99 lacs) in 6 screens, with the per screen average working out to $3,973 (Rs 2.16 lacs).
