CM Jayalalithaa to watch Kamal's Vishwaroopam

Kamal Hassan's Vishwaroopam release on January 11 in theatres may be still unclear due to his DTH release plans but there is a person, who is eagerly waiting for the release of the film. Well, it is none other than former actress and present Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Jayalalithaa.

The buzz says that Jayalalithaa is very curious about Vishwaroopam and has told Kamal to organise a special screening. She has seen the movie in bits and pieces and is keen to watch the multilingual flick. However, she could only watch on or after January 10, as the movie bosses does not want to have the screening before the official release.

It is well-known that Kamal Hassan and Jayalalithaa share good friendship. However, the actor is not keen on flaunting his powerful association with the present Chief Minister, but admits that she has shown interest to watch his latest movie. In fact, the Vishwaroopam unit is happy to shown the forthcoming film to Jayalalithaa.

Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu Cinema Theatres Association is opposing the release of Vishwaroopam, which also features Pooja Kumar, Rahul Bose and Andrea Jeremiah in important roles, on DTH format. They have decided to stop the release of the movie in entire state.
