I'm Working With Dhanush-Akshara Hassan: Amitabh Bachchan

After Dhanush opened up on his next outing in Bollywood with none other than Amitabh Bachchan, it was the turn of the Hindi Megastar Big B to confirm the news. Bombarded with questions over the news on Twitter, the actor announced about his next movie with R Balki and Dhanush.

The movie is directed by R Balakrishnan, and Kamal Hassan's younger daughter Akshara Hassan is playing the female lead role.

On Twitter, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, "R Balki me on again for the next film, a unique story as is the norm with him, and working with Dhanush and Akshara Kamal's daughter."

R Balki's favourite choices music director Illayaraaja and cinematographer PC Sreeram have been roped in for the movie.

A factor that had drawn public attention is the debut of Akshara Hassan. The daughter of Universal Star Kamal Hassan had earlier refused to take up projects, and reportedly said that she was more interested to work behind the camera rather than donning grease paint. Well, now, her sudden decision to act has surprised the industry.

However, Kamal Hassan fans have welcomed the news on social networking sites and they wish that she would make her father proud. Meanwhile, Dhanush, who is busy with a few Tamil projects, is excited to work with Amitabh Bachchan.
