From
KBKR
"His
films
generate
revenue
from
B
and
C
class
centres.
Even
his
film
Kedi
Billa
Killadi
Ranga
was
not
a
multiplex
hit,
but
it
did
good
business
in
smaller
towns
of
Tamil
Nadu,"
he

From
Ethir

This
is
the
second
hit
for
Sivakarthikeyan
in
a
row.
His
recently
released
low-budget
film
Kedi
Billa
Killadi
Ranga
(KBKR)
raked
in
approximately
Rs
7
crore
in
Tamil

in
the
opening
week.
A
Still
From
Ethir
Neechal
Ethir
Neechal
is
one
of
those
films
where
the
first
and
second
halves
are
vaguely
connected.
The
film
oscillates
between
a
cliched
romantic-comedy
and
sports
at
regular
intervals
only
to
appear
like
an
inspired
version
of
Simon
Pegg's
Run,
Fatboy,
Run.
A
Still
From
Ethir
Neechal
The
first
half
of
the
story
revolves
around
college
going
Sivakarthikeyan,
who
is
always
ridiculed
by
his
friends
for
his
funny
sounding
name.
Tired
of
always
being
mocked
at,
he
decides
to
choose
a
different
moniker
with
the
hope
that
things
would
be
better.

Neechal
Siva
played
his
part
effortlessly
and
proved
once
again
that
he
is
not
only
fit
to
play
comedy
roles.
While
focusing
too
much
on
our
male
protagonist,
the
film
doesn't
use
its
two
female
leads
-
Priya
Anand
and
Nandita
effectively.
