Simbu-Nayantara Again On Screen
It has been a mixed bag for all those Silambarasan aka Simbu's fans out there in the last few days. While his break-up with Hansika Motwani has created furor in cine circles, his teaming up with his ex-girlfriend Nayantara has thrilled them. Well, the actors will be joining hands for a movie directed by Pandiraj.
It has come as a surprising news for the industry over Simbu and Nayantara's decision to work together again. The duo has been avoiding each other ever since their break up. Well, the news of Nayan-Simbu teaming up has been confirmed by none other than Pandiraj himself.
Pandiraj believes that the role is tailor-made for Nayantara. He offered the movie to her through cinematographer Balasubramaniyam, who is handling the camera of her forthcoming Tamil flick Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal. The actress liked her character, but was not willing to take up because Simbu was the leading man in the flick.
"I felt that Nayanthara would be a perfect fit for the character and approached her through our cinematographer Balasubramaniem, who is working with her in Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal. The director convinced her by citing an example of Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone, who worked together in a movie even after their break up.
