Gautham
Menon's
much-awaited
project
with
Surya
seems
to
be
in
trouble,
as
the
director
has
been
dragged
to
court
by
none
other
than
his
ex-friend
R
Jayaraman
of
RS
Infotainment.
Jayaraman
has
brought
an
interim
stay
on
the
project
claiming
that
the
filmmaker
had
taken
Rs
4.5
crore
a
couple
of
years
ago
to
do
a
film
with
him
but
nothing
has
been
materialised
till
date.
It
is
well-known
that
Gautham
Menon
of
Photon
Kathas,
R
Jayaraman
of
RS
Infotainment
and
P
Madan
of
Escape
Artist
were
good
friends
at
one
point
of
time.
But
it
seems
like
things
did
not
work
out
well
between
Gautham-Jayaram,
as
the
latter
has
approached
the
court
and
brought
the
stay
on
Gautham
Menon's
film
with
Surya.
According
to
R
Jayaraman,
they
have
signed
a
deal
on
27/11/2008
but
now
Gautham
Menon
is
planning
to
do
the
same
on
his
Photon
Kathas.
However,
the
director
has
been
planning
to
do
a
film
with
the
Ghajini
star
after
the
success
of
Kaakha
Kaakha.
But
the
project
has
been
delayed
for
one
or
the
other
reason.
It
was
earlier
said
they
would
be
working
on
Thuppariyum
Anand,
a
detective
thriller.
Meanwhile,
Surya
is
busy
with
his
forthcoming
Singam
2
and
Gautham
is
yet
to
announce
his
next
film.
