Kamal, Rajini With K Balachander
So, it has been a special day in Rajinikanth's life ever since then. On this special day, Rajinikanth meets K Balachander and remembers how the legendary filmmaker made him a star.
But on two occasions, Rajinikanth has missed out to meet K Balachander. It was because of his busy schedule that he could not meet the director. Hence, the fans of superstar celebrate Holi as a special day.
However, Rajinikanth, even after close-to-four decade association in the film industry, continues to rule the hearts of audience and Box Office.
Rajinikanth's next film is Kochadaiyaan, the debut directorial film of his daughter Soundarya Ashwin. It is a historical-fiction, which tells the story of Pandya King Kochadaiyaan Ranadheeran.
Kochadaiyaan, which also features Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Sarath Kumar, Shobana, Aadhi and others in the cast, is likely to release in July.
