Venkat
Prabhu.

70-year-old
was
rushed
to
Apollo
Hospital,
Chennai
on
Monday
after
he
complained
of
chest
pain.
The
doctors,
attended
on
him,
has
announced
that
he
is
out
of
danger.

uncle,
our
Isaignani
(music
maestro),
is
absolutely
fine!
Thanks
for
the
love
and
prayers," Venkat
Prabhu
posted
on
his
Twitter
page.
Ilaiyaraaja,
who
is
under
observation
in
the
hospital,
is
expected
to
get
discharged
soon.
He
was
supposed
to
go
to
Malaysia
for
a
live
concert
a
day
before
he
suffered
the
heart
attack.
The
music
director
is
considered
as
a
legend
in
Indian
films
for
his
contribution
towards
films
and
music
industry.
He
has
composed
music
in
Tamil,
Kannada,
Telugu,
Malayalam,
Hindi
and
Marathi
films.
Ilaiyaraaja
has
composed
over
4,500
songs
and
scored
music
for
more
than
950
Indian
films
in
various
languages.
His
songs
have
been
enjoyed
by
South
Indian
audience
for
more
than
three
decades.
