Ileana D'Cruz, the actress, who has made it big in South Indian films, is not limited to regional films any more as the Goan girl has started off her career in Bollywood on a right note. Her first step in the Hindi film industry has got her appreciation from various quarters and there are signs of Ileana having a stable career in the B-Town.

Her first Hindi movie Barfi not only became a successful commercial flick but also got critical acclaim. The interesting part of the story is that despite Ileana playing second fiddle, the actress, with her brilliant performance, managed to draw audience attention. Like many South actresses, who have had a great career, the Nanban girl seems to be ready to create a niche for herself in Bollywood.

However, the question that has been raised by her fans is it at the cost of South films, which have brought her name and fame? It is because Ileana has not signed a single Tamil/Telugu film after her first Hindi film Barfi. More importantly, the actress, who had some issues in Telugu film industry after she opted out of the promotions of her Telugu film Shakti, has remained unavailable for South filmmakers.
