Ileana happy in Bollywood
Ileana D'Cruz is one of the South actresses who has kept her best foot forward in Bollywood. The Goan girl, who entered Hindi films with last year's blockbuster Barfi, seems to be ready to make it big in the India's biggest film industry. But little less we knew that she did not have any expectation from B-Town.
"I have actually walked into Bollywood with no expectations whatsoever. I did not expect to be appreciated for my work in Barfi!, but when people did, it was very touching and humbling for me," the actress said here at the launch of a shampoo brand a few days ago.
Ileana, who shared screen space with Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in Barfi!, is fully busy with her next Bollywood film Phata Poster Nikla Hero. She has paired up with Shahid Kapoor in the forthcoming Hindi movie. "I am just taking it as it goes. I am hoping for better stuff to come my way," she adds. Ileana Satisfied
Ileana is happy and satisfied. "I am very happy with the projects I have got on hand and I like the way my career is going so far," said Ileana, who forayed into filmdom with Telugu film Devadasu in 2006.
Bags Two Films
Meanwhile, Ileana has bagged two more films in her kitty. The actress has been roped in to pair up with Saif Ali Khan in a romantic-comedy film directed by duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK.
Starring Saif Ali Khan
The project with Saif Ali Khan will take off in June. Reports say that there will be another actress in the film who will be playing the second fiddle in the movie. The hunt for the same is on.
To Work With Comedy King
Ileana's other project is with director David Dhawan, who is known for making rib-tickling comedy films. The film has been titled Main Tera Hero. But the hero has to be finalised.
Temporarily Bids Goodbye To South
On the other end, her two more Hindi films will keep her away from South films. She will not return in near future as those films will keep her busy with the next 15 months.
