Vikram Prabhu is ready for the acid test. The young actor, who got a dream debut with Kumki, is returning with Ivan Veramathiri, a romantic thriller, directed by none other than Saravanan, who delivered a sleeper hit with Engeyum Eppodhum. The expectations are high and so is the pre-talks about the flick. This worked well for the movie to create a demand for its theatrical rights in Kollywood.

The good news is that Ivan Veramathiri distribution rights have been sold - lock, stock and barrel. UTV Motion Pictures has sold the theatrical rights of all the regions and has made good bucks through the rights. We have to note that the satellite rights of the forthcoming Tamil movie has been acquired by Vijay TV.

Now, Ivan Veramathiri is getting ready for a grand release. It will hit the screens worldwide on December 13. The movie will be battling with small movies at the Box Office, but it will have to survive the challenges thrown by biggies like Karthi's Biriyani and Jeeva's Endrendrum Punnagai, which will release a week after Vikram Prabhu's movie.
