Kamal,Vijay,Dhanush's Movies To Be Screened In Russia

Vijay's
Thuppakki,
which
had
won
critics
and
audience
appreciations,
will
be
screened
at
the
centenary
fete
of
Indian
cinema
in
Russia.
The
event
will
be
held
in
December.
Along
with
this
movie,
Kamal
Hassan's
Vettaiyadu
Vilayadu
and
Dhanush's
Aadukalam
will
be
screened.
Indo-Russian
Cultural
and
Friendship
Society
(IRCFS)
has
organised
the
event.
"We
are
celebrating
100
years
of
Indian
cinema
in
Russia
in
collaboration
with
the
Russian
government
in
December.
Three
Tamil
films
Thuppakki,
Vettaiyadu
Vilayadu
and
Aadukalam
will
be
screened
at
the
event," P
Thangappan,
secretary
general,
IRCFS,
told
IANS.
Thuppakki
was
an
action
movie
directed
by
AR
Murugadoss.
It
starred
Vijay
and
Kajal
Aggarwal
in
the
lead
roles.
Aadukalam,
which
featured
Dhanush,
Kishore
and
Taapsee
Pannu
in
the
key
roles,
won
six
National
Awards.
The
Tamil
drama
was
written
and
directed
by
Vetrimaran.
Vettaiyadu
Vilayadu
was
a
crime-thriller
directed
by
Gautham
Menon.
It
starred
Kamal
Hassan,
Jyothika
and
Prakash
Raj
in
the
lead
roles.
The
above-mentioned
Tamil
movies
will
be
screend
along
with
other
movies
from
different
languages.
"These
films
will
be
screened
along
with
several
other
Indian
films.
We
are
yet
to
zero
in
on
the
final
list
of
films
to
be
screened
at
the
fest,"
he
added.
The
lead
actors
are
not
been
invited
yet,
as
there
is
still
a
lot
of
time.
