Kamal Hassan wants to play Dawood

Kamal Hassan is known for doing something new in the film industry. Ullaganayagan Kamal Hassan is an all-rounder when it comes to acting. Audience have seen Kamal Hassan in many roles, he even took a big step in Chachi 420 by playing the role of a grandmother.

After all these roles, Kamal Hassan opened his mouth about his liking towards the character. The upcoming flick of the B-Town, D-Day has the character influenced from Dawood Ibrahim. Goldman character which is played by Rishi Kapoor in D-Day is inspired by Dawood Ibrahim.

After reading the script, in which his daughter Shruti Hassan will be playing a lead role, Kamal wished to play the Goldman role.

Shruti Hassan is playing the role of dreaded don in the movie, with co-stars includes Arjun Rampal, Rishi Kapoor, Irrfan Khan, Huma Qureshi and Sandeep Kulkarni in the lead.

However, the D-Day is all set to hit the silver screen this weekend on July 19th.
