After Karthi, It's Surya For Venkat Prabhu?

Venkat Prabhu's next movie has started making news even before his forthcoming Biriyani hits the screens. We have recently read that the director was planning a sequel to Mankatha with Ajith Kumar in the lead role. But, now there are also reports that he would be teaming up with Surya.

The filmmaker has reportedly approached Surya for his next movie. He has narrated one-line story and the Ghajini star is impressed with it. The actor has asked the director to come up with bound script as he doesn't want to repeat the same mistake that he committed with Gautham Menon.

If you are not aware of Surya-Gautham Menon's recent story, their movie Dhruva Natchathiram was grandly launched, but did not start its shooting because the director failed to come up with a complete story.

Venkat Prabhu is likely to start the work of his next movie with Surya once his Biriyani hits the screens. The forthcoming movie starring Karthi will release worldwide on December 20.
