Kochadaiiyaan's release news left the traders unsettled last week. It made the traders to imagine the chaotic situation in Kollywood for Pongal with the Rajinikanth's movie competing with other biggies like Vijay's Jilla and Ajith Kumar's Veeram.

The producers of Jilla and Veeram, which had been billed as the Pongal treat a long ago, were unhappy with the latest development as they wanted good number of screens for their movies. The sudden entry of Rajini's movie was not welcomed by them.

Reading the situation, the makers of the Rajinikanth film have now decided to postpone the release of the forthcoming mega-budget movie. Sources say that the makers of Kochadaiiyaan wanted to avoid the clash of three big movies. Jilla starring Vijay, Mohanlal and Kajal Aggarwal is likely to release on January 10. It is directed by Nesen and produced by RB Chaudhary.

Veeram

Whereas, the exact date of release of Veeram is yet to be revealed. The movie stars Ajith Kumar and Tamanna Bhatia in the lead roles. It is directed by Siruthai Siva and produced by Vijaya Productions.
