Director Soundarya has released the voice promo of Kochadaiyaan's song 'Medhuvaaga thaan', which he is crooned by the ace playback singer Balasubramaniam (SPB) and Sadhna Sargam.
Speaking about the music, SPB says, "I am very much mesmerised by the soulful tunes of AR Rahman and the orchestration has come out very well."
The latest development seems like the movie makers have geared up for the movie promotions. The official announcement of the release date of Kochadaiyaan is expected soon from the crew.
Kochadaiyaan is based on the life of pandiyan king Kochadaiyaan Ranadhiran. The movie is made using the 3D motion capturing technology and it is directed by Soundarya R Ashwin, the younger daughter of Rajinikanth.
Rajinikanth will be playing the dual role of father and son in the movie. Shobana, Deepika Padukone, Sarath Kumar and Jackie Shroff will also be seen as main leads. While Shobana is paired opposite Rajinikanth senior, Bollywood Diva Deepika Padukone plays the love interest role of Rajinikanth junior in the movie.

Kochadaiyaan is currently in the post production stage. Superstar Rajinikanth is dubbing for the Telugu version of the movie. Kochadaiyaan will be dubbed to Telugu as Vikram Simha.
Kochadaiyaan also mark the debut of the Bollywood beauty Deepika Padukone in Tamil industry. Recently, she was seen in Chennai Express as a traditional Tamil girl.
Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff will also seen in the important role of the movie. He was last seen in 2011, Tamil film Aaranya Kaandam.
Tamil movie Kochadaiyaan is dubbed into Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi languages. The movie is also made in the International languages like English, Russian, Japanese and Chinese.
Talking about the movie, Deepika Padukone had said, ''Kochadaiyaan is not a Tamil movie, but it is an International film."
Auro 3D Technology
Kochadaiyaan is the third Indian movie to use Auro 3D technology. After Kamal Hassan's Vishwaroopam and Dhanush's Mariyaan.
The cinematography part is handled by Rajiv Menon. Sources said that the makers have used 48 cameras to shoot each and every scene.
Rajini starrer fictional movie is expected to hit screen on Diwali festival 2013.
