Kadal
film
unit
finally
met
Tamil
media
before
press
earlier
today
(January
15).
They
have
been
avoiding
media
from
the
day
the
film
hit
the
floors
to
generate
curiosity
among
audience.
The
press
meet
was
held
at
at
Rani
Seethai
Hall,
Chennai
and
it
was
attended
by
Suhasini
Rathnam,
Arjun
Sarja,
Arvind
Swamy,
Lakshmi
Manchu,
Gautham
Karthik,
Karthik,
Thulasi
Nair,
Vairamuthu
AR
Rahman
and
others.
The
only
person,
who
was
missing
from
the
event,
was
Radha,
the
mother
of
debutant
Thulasi
Nair.
The
event
was
wrapped
up
in
less
than
one
hour
and
the
entire
team
spoke
to
each
other
and
shared
the
work
experience.
Mani
Ratnam
went
ahead
and
thanked
Oscar
Award
winner
AR
Rahman
for
giving
wonderful
tunes
and
the
musician
called
the
director
as
his
guru.
However,
Kadal
will
hit
the
screens
on
February
1
worldwide
in
Tamil
and
Telugu
versions.
It
marks
the
debut
of
Gautham,
the
son
of
actor
Karthik,
and
Thulasi
Nair,
the
daughter
of
actress
Radha.
Arjun
Sarja,
Arvind
Swamy
and
Lakshmi
Manchu
are
in
important
roles.
The
movie
is
all
about
good
versus
evil.
It
narrates
the
story
of
an
individual
caught
between
sin
and
redemption.
