No Politics In Jilla: Director Nesan

Tamil director Nesan, who is busy wrapping up Jilla starring Ilayathalapathy Vijay, has said that the movie has nothing to do with politics.

Director said, "There is no trace of any political content in the movie and it's the same story that I had penned a couple of years back." He was happy with the way his film was getting shaped.

Nesan also cleared that the person, who will be gutsy in the areas around Madurai city, is called as Jilla, and he has adapted the concept from them. The director also added that Ilayathalapathy was excited, when he heard the concept.

Nesan had assisted director Jayam Raja for Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Velayudham. The movie had Hansika Motwani, Genelia D'Souza and Santhanam in the lead roles. It was declared Blockbuster hit of 2011.

Jilla team, which is busy wrapping up its final schedule, is at Hyderabad currently. It is said that the lead casts Vijay, Kajal Aggarwal, Mohanlal and Mahat Raghavendra are sweating it out on the sets. D Imman has scored the music, which is produced by RB Choudary under Super Good Films.

The crew has planned to release the movie for Pongal festival in 2014. Jilla is expected to clash with Ajith's Veeram and Karthi starrer Biriyani.
