The
movie
taglines
are
meant
to
give
a
small
description
about
a
movie.
Apart
from
the
title,
taglines
play
a
dominant
role
in
the
movie's
poster
with
the
punching
lines.
Latest
buzz
from
Kollywood
is
that
Tamil
movie
makers
have
becoming
very
particular
about
the
taglines.
Recently,
Thalaivaa
crew
was
forced
to
remove
the
tagline
'Time
to
lead
from
its
promotional
posters.
Following
this
the
makers
of
upcoming
Tamil
flick
Rendavathu
Padam,
have
included
'No
tagline
No
Problem'
in
their
promotional
posters.
By
this
the
industry
experts
are
expecting
the
upcoming
Tamil
movies
will
be
off
taglines.
Such
is
the
impact
of
the
Thalaivaa
tagline
controversy
on
Kollywood.
Recent
release
Thalaivaa
faced
many
pre-release
controversies
in
Tamil
Nadu.
Later
the
movie
release
was
smoothened,
when
the
movie
bosses
agreed
to
remove
the
tagline
'Time
to
Lead'.
In
the
recent
press
conference,
Tamil
actor
Vishal,
who
is
awaiting
his
upcoming
flick
Madha
Gaja
Raja,
asked
people
to
stop
promoting
the
movie
in
its
abbreviated
version
MGR.
MG
Ramachandran
(MGR),
who
was
the
actor
and
Tamil
Nadu
Chief
Minister
is
the
iconic
name
in
the
state.
Vishal
said
that
it
is
a
powerful
tagline
that
is
instantly
catchy.
But
he
wishes
to
remove
it
as
he
doesn't
want
to
get
into
any
controversy.
Vishal
said,
"I
have
been
hearing
people
using
the
abbreviated
version
of
the
title.
I
want
to
reiterate
that
the
film
is
titled
Madha
Gadha
Raja
and
not
MGR.
We
don't
want
to
attract
controversy
and
therefore
I
urge
everyone
to
stop
using
the
abbreviated
title."
