Royal Stag Mirchi Music Awards South 2013 was held in Chennai on July 26. It was a blissful evening to witness the famous South Indian music scorers and playback singers together.
The awards ceremony had the musical maestros of many generation, the musicians from SP Balasubramaniam to the latest music composer, Anirudh made their solicit presence and presided over the event.
The event which was held in Chennai trade center, Nandambakam, Chennai, witnessed music legends SP Balasubramaniam (SPB), AR Rahman, Devi Sri Prasad (DSP), LR Eshwari, D Imman, Anirudh, actress Shriya Saran, producer Aishwarya Dhanush and many more.
South Music Director Devi Sri Prasad, emerged as the showman of the event. He was honoured with five awards at Radio Mirchi Music Awards South 2013.
DSP’s Gabbar Singh bagged Best Album of the year (Jury Choice), Best Album of the year (Listeners Choice), Best Song of the year (Jury Choice) for 'Aaksam ammayaithe', Best Song of the year (Listeners Choice) for 'Kevvu Keka' and also Best Composer of the year awards.
