Tamil veteran actress Manjula Vijay Kumar passed away on Tuesday (July 23). The legends of Tamil film industry visited her residence in Chennai and payed their last tribute.

Actress was admitted to Sri Ramchandra Medical College (SRMC) a week ago after she suffered a severe fall in her house. Manjula was undergoing treatment for the same. Two days before her death, she was diagnosed with jaundice. She was 59. Manjula is survived by husband and three daughters.

Manjula had starred in 100 films in her three-decade long career. She was the spouse of Tamil veteran actor and politician Vijay Kumar and two of her daughters Sridevi and Preetha have sizzled as heroines in Kollywood earlier.

Manjula has acted along side with the legend actors of South-India, like Sivaji Ganesan, Gemini Ganesan, MG Ramachandran, NTR, Akkineni Nageshwara Rao, Vishnuvardhan, Kamal Hassan and Rajinikanth. The death news of Manjula was shocking for Tamil film industry, many veteran actors rushed to actress place and payed their last tribute.
