It was a memorable evening for Indian film fraternity as they got a chance to meet one of the biggest directors of Hollywood of all time, Steven Spielberg. Well, the big names of Indian cinema met Steven Spielberg at a party hosted by Anil Ambani in Mumbai.
Hollywood filmmaker Steven Spielberg is on a short trip to India and to celebrate the success of his English movie Lincoln, a collaboration with Anil Ambani's Reliance Entertainment.
It was a moment of their life time for many filmmakers as they got to meet the Hollywood legend for the first time. Many big names from India like Amitabh Bachchan, Karan Johar, Madhur Bhandarkar, Mahesh Bhatt, Raju Hirani and many were present at the party. But the interesting part of the night was that a few names from South Indian film industries were also invited.
Notable among them is Kamal Hassan, who is all set to enter Hollywood in a movie produced by Lord of the Rings producer Barrie M Osborne, met Steven Spielberg and discussed about movies. "It can be called masterclass session wherein Spielberg will be imparting knowledge to Indian directors and would be learning from them as well. The list includes the biggest names like Rajkumar Hirani, AR Murugadoss, Anurag Kashyap, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, Abhishek Kapoor, Habib Faisal, Ram Gopal Varma, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Farah Khan," said a source, a day before the session.

Meanwhile, reports say that Steven Spielberg is planning to make a film based on India-Pakistan border issue.

Directors like Abhay Chopra, Abhishek Kapoor, Anurag Kashyap, Ashutosh Gowarikar, Ayaan Mukherjee, R Balki, Bejoy Nambiar, David Dhawan, Farah Khan, Gauri Shinde, Kiran Rao, Subhash Ghai and many others were also part of the masterclass session.

Actors like Anil Kapoor, Kajol, Anushka Sharma, Hema Malini, Ritesh Deshmukh, Sunil Shetty, Boman Irani, Hrithik Roshan, Anupam Kher, Arjun Rampal, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sridevi Kapoor with her husband Boney Kapoor and many others attended the party.
