Preview: Mariyaan Starring Dhanush
The much anticipated movie of Kollywood, Mariyaan is all set to hit silver screen this weekend on July 19th. The movie has Dhanush and Parvathi Menon in the lead roles, and it is directed by Bharath Bala, which is the directorial venture of him.
Mariyaan deals with the story of a construction fishermen, who will be kidnapped to Sudan by mercenaries. The plot deals with the emotional journey of the hostage, who will be kept in an unknown place. He will be eagerly waiting to get back to his country, to lead a happy life. Bharath Bala has included a love track in tragic story, where Parvathi Menon plays the love interest of Dhanush in the movie.
Mariyaan deals with the story of human survival, and it is based on the real life incident. In 2008, few oil workers were kidnapped from India and kept as hostage. Director Bharath Bala met the former hostages before the production work which helped him to improvise the script.
