Priyamani plays it safe; won't react to Kajal Aggarwal's controversy

By Ramchander
Kajal
Aggarwal,
in
the
recent
years,
seems
to
have
become
controversy's
favourite
child.
Couple
of
her
interviews
given
after
she
bagged
Bollywood
projects,
garnered
a
lot
of
criticism
from
the
South
film
industries.
Firstly,
her
statement
on
regional
film
industry
was
miss
quoted
that
she
never
considered
herself
as
a
South
actress.
The
Mumbai
lass
narrowly
escaped
from
being
banned
from
the
Tamil
and
Telugu
film
fraternity
last
year.
And
her
recent
comment
that
compared
the
working
style
of
Tamil
and
and
Telugu
film
industries
irked
many.
Speaking
to
the
Times
of
India,
Kajal
Aggarwal
has
said
that
there
is
a
difference
between
Telugu
and
Tamil
films.
The
actress
finds
that
women
are
respected
well
in
Tollywood
than
Kollywood.
According
to
the
actress,
who
delivered
blockbuster
Thuppakki
starring
Vijay
and
hit
Maattrraan
with
Surya
last
year,
Tamil
film
industry
cares
only
about
heroes
and
they
treat
them
like
a
god.
"I
prefer
the
Telugu
film
industry
as
women
are
respected
more
than
they
are
in
the
Tamil
film
industry.
In
Tamil
cinema,
they
care
only
about
their
hero,
who
is
God.
Of
course,
I
don't
give
a
shit
and
go
and
sit
in
my
van," The
TOI
quoted
the
actress
as
saying.
The
actress'
statement
is
likely
to
spark
controversy
considering
that
the
actress
was
only
part
of
two
biggies
-
Maattrran
and
Thuppakki
-
in
the
recent
years.
