Who is Purampokku: Arya Or Vijay?

The photoshoot for the promotion of forthcoming Tamil movie Purampokku directed by the national-award-winning director SP Jhananathan was done on December 1st. Presented by UTV motion pictures, the movie is the maiden production venture of the director's Binary Pictures.

Handsome hunk Arya and the vibrant Vijay Sethupathy are excited over their union. It was evident in their conversation tone recently. The former with his usual tongue-in-cheek humour was found asking latter, "Who is the 'purampokku' among us, is it you or me?' The latter ever spontaneous in his reply responded, "Could be you, or may be myself!"

SP Jhananathan intervened at this point and said, "Any thing that is useful to the general public or anybody who is useful to the public are 'purampokku'. And it is up to you to decide with in yourself who is that 'purampokku'."

The first schedule of Purampokku will commence from January in Kulu Manali. The upcoming Tamil movie has Ekambaram's cinematography, VT Vijay's and Yuvan Shankar Raja's music. The hunt for the female lead is on.

Dhananjayan Govind of UTV Motion Pictures had said earlier, "A few more top artistes are going to join the team and shall keep you updated along with the entire technicians list soon."
