Oscar-winning
composer
AR
Rahman,
who
managed
to
get
a
glimpse
of
one
of
the
songs
from
superstar
Rajinikanth-starrer
Tamil
period-drama
Kochadaiyaan,
describes
it
as
"epic".
"(I)
had
a
sneak
preview
of
Rajini
sir's
motion
capture
results
for
one
of
the
songs
from
Kochadaiyaan.
(It)
looks
like
animation
on
steroids!
Epic," posted
Rahman
on
his
Twitter
page.
Rahman
has
composed
the
music
for
the
film,
directed
by
Rajini's
daughter
Soundarya
Ashwin.
The
highlight
of
the
album
is
the
song
crooned
by
Rajinikanth
and
written
by
poet
Vairamuthu.
However,
the
audio
launch
is
expected
to
happen
in
the
coming
months
and
it
will
be
released
in
a
foreign
nation
like
Rajini's
Endhiran
album,
which
was
launched
in
Malaysia.
Kochadaiyaan
is
said
to
be
India's
first
film
with
motion
capture
technique
along
the
lines
of
Hollywood
films
Tin
Tin
and
Avatar.
Also
featuring
R
Sarath
Kumar,
Aadi
Pinisetty,
Shobana,
Jackie
Shroff,
Deepika
Padukone
and
Nassar,
it
has
been
jointly
produced
by
Eros
International
and
Media
One
Global
Entertainment.
The
film
is
currently
in
its
post-production
phase.
