Raja Rani has become one of the biggest hits of 2013. The collection of the movie has surpassed the movie bosses' expectations and surprised the entire Tamil film industry. The Kollywood flick has completed its 25 days run in many theatres in Tamil Nadu on Tuesday (October 23).

Sources close to the production house have said that the makers of Raja Rani are delighted and very happy. The movie has performed better than their expectations at Box Office. In the first 25 days, the multi-starrer movie has earned Rs 50 crores.

With this development, Raja Rani has become the third highest grosser of the year 2013. Released with a huge expectation, the Tamil movie garnered positive reviews from the critics. It was followed by good word-of-mouth from audience. It has done remarkable business in Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and other places.

In the first weekend, Raja Rani collected Rs 12.2 crores at the Domestic Box Office. It became the fourth biggest opening of 2013 in Kollywood. The Tamil movie's collections at overseas was appreciable as it made 800,000 USD from the International Box Office in the opening weekend.
