Raja Rani Rocks At Box Office
AR Murugadoss seems to have struck gold at Box Office again. The filmmaker, who had given two superhits as a producer in the form of Engaeyum Eppothum and Vatthikuchi earlier, has delivered hattrick with his Raja Rani, which stars Arya and Nayantara in the lead roles.
Raja Rani was released with a lot of expectations due to the success of AR Murugadoss' earlier movies. Adding to that it was the coming together of the combo Arya and Nayantara, who had earlier worked in M Rajesh's Boss Engira Bhaskaran.
The trailer and promotional materials had managed to draw audience attention. Well, the movie did not disappoint the cine goers as Raja Rani opened up to positive reviews in large numbers.
Raja Rani has turned out to be a best outing for family audience and youths. While the subject of the husband-wife is driving the general audience to the theatres, the romance and comedy parts have attracted the new-age cine goers. As a result, the movie has got a wonderful opening at the Tamil Box Office.

The success was not limited to Tamil Nadu alone as Raja Rani rocked at other states.
Karnataka-Kerala
Raja Rani raked in Rs 25 lakhs in Karnataka which has surprised the traders. In Kerala, the movie has managed to earn more than Rs 27 lakhs.
Collection In TN
It means, Raja Rani collected Rs 4 crore on the opening day from South and the movie has got one of the best openings in 2013.
Saturday
On Saturday, the positive reviews and good word-of-mouth helped Raja Rani to make a better business in the Southern states.
Karnataka
Raja Rani collections saw a raise as it collected Rs 3.50 crore on Saturday. In Karnataka, it collected Rs 30 lakhs, thereby bettering its collections. Whereas, in Kerala the business was dipped for some reasons.
Kerala
In Kerala, Raja Rani earned Rs 20 lakhs on Saturday. However, reports say that on Sunday the turn out for the movie was good in all states.
