Santhanam's Movie Gets Expensive Set

Santhanam's forthcoming comedy movie Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham seems to have got bigger. For the film, an expensive set has been erected and the major part of the Tamil movie will be shot over there.

According to sources, the sets cost Rs 2 crores. It has been erected on the outskirts of Chennai. The lavish mansion has been designed at a theme park in Sriperumbudur. The art director has given importance to every small details of the house and has well-erected the same.

The major part of Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham will be shot in this set. A source tells that the house opens up to a beautiful lawn with good number of trees in front of the house. Onlookers say that the mansion looks a real palace where people have been staying in the house for over generations.

The Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham team has settled near the house in order to avoid travelling. It will help the team to wrap up the shoots at the earliest.

Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham is a remake of Telugu superhit movie Maryada Ramanna, which starred Sunil and Saloni in the leads. The movie, which was directed by SS Rajamouli, is about a man, who stays in a mansion to save his life from being killed. The Tamil version is directed by Srinath and features Anjala Zaveri in the female lead role.
