See who wants to direct Salman Khan!

Salman Khan is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars of Bollywood. It is no surprise that directors wait in a queue to direct him. It has to be noted that even South directors express their wish to work with him. He had worked with South director Siddique, the creator of Vijay starrer Kaavalan, in Bodyguard, a few years ago. Now, yet another Tamil director, who is making his Bollywood debut with Shortcut Romeo, has claimed that he wants to make a film with the King of Box-Office.

Susi Ganeshan, a protegee of Mani Ratnam, started his career with Virumbugiren starring Prashanth and Sneha. The film won several awards and his next movie Five Star too won several awards. But it is his third movie Thiruttu Payale that earned him huge acclaim, as the film went on to become a sleeperhit. Seven years after its release, he is all set to remake it in Bollywood starring Neil Nitin Mukesh, Ameesha Patel and Puja Gupta.

During one of the promotions, Susi Ganeshan has claimed that he has a superhero subject in hand and he wants to cast Salman Khan in the lead role. It has to be noted that the Bollywood actor has not done a superhero kind of role till date. Continue reading the story on the slideshow...

A 3D Superhero Film

According to Susi Ganeshan, his next film is a superhero action film, which will be in 3D. The script is almost ready and he wants Salman Khan to play the lead role. It's a larger than life character and the Sallu is one of the actors who can pull off this role, believes the director.

Hutchman

The film is tentatively titled Hutchman. The director, however, has not approached Salman Khan so far.

Not Approached Salman Yet

"Salman is busy with his films and I have not met him so far, neither have I approached him. He suits the role very well. He is certainly in my wish list. Let's see how things shapes up," said the director.

Will Salman Khan Accept His Offer?

Well, will Salman Khan accept his offer? Only time can answer. But the actor has a few films in his kitty and it keeps him busy for the next 18 months.

Plans To Settle In Bollywood

Meanwhile, Susi Ganeshan has said that he would like to settle in Bollywood for some time and he has no plans of returning to Tamil films.
