Shahrukh Khan Way Ahead Of Surya, Kamal, Vijay

Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan has retained his numero uno position on Forbes India's Celebrity 100 List. Even though big names from cricket scored above him on the fame rankings, he managed to be on top based on his earnings. He is way ahead of his counterparts from South film industries like Surya, Kamal Hassan, Vijay, Sudeep and many others.

The King Khan has remained in No. 1 position in the list that also has names of Bollywood biggies Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif along with cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar and Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The list is formed by measuring money (earnings estimates) and fame.

Actor Surya leads the chart among the Tamil celebrities. He is in the 32nd position. His next competitor from Kollywood is none other than Kamal Hassan, who is in the 47th position. Illayathalapathy is in 49th position. There are also a few stars from Telugu and Kannada films.

Telugu actors Pawan Kalyan (26), Nagarjuna (61), Ram Charan Teja (69), Kannada actors Sudeep (62), and Darshan (63) are in the list.

The Celebrity 100 list is prepared by measuring money (earnings estimates) and fame. Film stars - all male, with the exception of Katrina Kaif, who is on number nine - dominate the Top Ten in 2013. Yesteryear Tamil/Bollywood actress Sridevi Kapoor is in 73rd position.
