Simbu gets Rs 2 lakhs per song

Silambarasan seems to be taking his singing career seriously as the actor has started getting many offers to croon songs for films. As a result, the Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa star has started demanding a decent price to lend his voice.

Actors singing songs for their films are common in South films. But the interesting point is that Silambarasan is getting offers for other actors' films. The buzz says that he charges Rs 2 lakhs to sing a song.

Simbu had recently sung 'Oru Porambokku...' for Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga and 'Kalaipom...' in Naan Rajava Aga Pogiraen. When asked about the money that he gets for singing, Silambarasan claimed that he has never taken up singing career seriously but it is helpful for him when he gets it as pocket money.

He asks his parents for his daily deeds and when he wants to buy new gadgets, his parents refuse to give him. So, this is when he decides to sing for a movie.
