Chennai:
Hari
Gopalakrishnan's
Singam
2
starring
Surya
and
Anushka
in
leads,
is
all
set
to
clash
with
Hindi
movie
Policegiri
at
the
Box
Office.
But
interestingly,
the
director,
who
is
promoting
his
much-hyped
flick,
is
going
gaga
over
the
Bollywood
film
and
says
that
he
is
looking
forward
to
watch
the
Sanjay
Dutt
starrer.
You
might
be
wondering
on
why
he
is
curious
about
the
Hindi
film.
The
reason
is
that
it
is
the
remake
of
his
own
film
Saamy.
Directed
by
KS
Ravikumar,
Policegiri
features
Sanjay
Dutt,
Prachi
Desai,
Prakash
Raj,
Om
Puri,
Rajpal
Yadav,
Manoj
Joshi
and
Mukesh
Tiwari
in
leads.
It
is
set
to
hit
the
screen
on
same
day
of
the
release
of
Singam
2.
But
Hari
does
not
seem
to
be
worried
over
the
idea
of
Singam
2
clashing
with
it.
Rather
he
is
eagerly
waiting
to
see
the
work
of
KS
Ravikumar
and
how
the
viewers
will
receive
the
movie.
Talking
about
the
Bollywood
movie,
Hari
expressed
his
confidence
about
Ravikumar's
direction.
"I
loved
the
trailer
of
Policegiri
and
I
want
to
see
the
film
whenever
I
find
time.
I
know
Ravikumar
sir
would've
done
complete
justice
to
the
film.
I'm
eagerly
waiting
for
Singam
2
to
release
and
see
how
it
will
be
received," IANS
quotes
Hari
as
saying.
The
Telugu
version
of
Saamy,
which
was
titled
Lakshmi
Narasimha,
featured
Nandamuri
Balakrishna.
Hari
says
he
has
never
thought
of
the
remake
of
it
in
Bollywood.
The
director
added,
"I
didn't
expect
that
it
will
ever
be
remade
in
Hindi.
I
just
made
it
and
it
turned
out
to
be
successful.
The
Telugu
remake
version
was
highly
successful
and
I'm
sure
it
will
be
bigger
hit
in
Hindi
as
well."
However,
Policegiri
is
one
of
the
most-hyped
Bollywood
movies
of
2013.
Its
promos
have
soared
up
the
film
goers'
curiosity
to
sky
high.
Especially,
viewers
are
eagerly
waiting
to
see
Sanjay
Dutt
rock
on
screen
after
his
jail
sentence.
Trade
