Surya's family hailed him for Singam 2

After the smashing hit of Singam 2 on the screens, director Hari and Actor Surya's combo has been appreciated all over the world. On Sunday, 7th July, actor Surya and director Hari interacted with the fans during an interview hosted by leading Tamil television channel.

Surya was very happy for the positive reaction that he got from his family for the movie. Surya said, "It was Jo (Jyothika) who gave the positive opinion from my family, Jo was so excited that she clapped and congratulated me after the first premier show was over." In the last twelve years, this was the first time Jyothika clapped for the movie, adds a versatile actor.

Surya's brother Karthi was also so excited after watching the movie and texted him, "What a movie-pace unmatched". His sister and mother were also very happy about the movie and said it was one of the countable movies that his mother came out of a theatre in a happy mood. With all the moral support in the family, Surya thanked director Hari for the product and said, "Family's positive reaction will be a moral support for an artist.”

Apart from his family, Surya was also appreciated from the celebrities. Surya's upcoming movie makers Gautham Menon and Linguswamy conveyed their best wishes. Veteran actor Radha Ravi blessed Surya for his professional growth. Surya's performance in Singam 2 was compared to Sivaji Ganeshan's Veerapandiya Kattabomman, UTV South head, Dhananjayan.

The biggest question in the interview was about Singam 3, in response to which the duo said, "If a new story of Singam 3 would excite they will definitely come up with the project." The director-actor duo thanked the whole Singam team for their hard work.
