Singam 2: Will Surya-Hari combo work this time?

The combo of Surya and director Hari is all set to roar this Friday with their new action packed entertainer and much awaited Singam 2. Singam 2 is the Kollywood's most expected movie from past three years. After the hit of Singam in 2010, Tamil audience and Surya fans were eagerly waiting for its sequel. Now, the combo is back to hit screens on July 5th.

In earlier days, the combo had given three blockbuster hits for Kollywood. Surya and Hari combination kick started from Aaru in 2005, where Surya played a role of a handpicked slum dweller who becomes a bodyguard for a local don and later destroys his power when he get to know the evil face of him. Aaru became a massive hit in Kollywood. Later, the same combo were back with action in 2007 with a family entertainer Vel in which Surya played a dual role which was added to the success of Surya and Hari.

In 2010, the duo was back with Singam which also became a massive hit, which resulted them to come up with its sequel. The hit for their combination was also credited by music composer and playback singer Devi Sri Prasad. Devi Sri Prasad has composed music for the duo's earlier hits Aaru and Singam.

Now, the combo is hitting the silver screen on July 5th with their new action entertainer and much awaited Singam 2. Let's wait and see if the combo of Surya and director Hari work fourth time?
