Surya to start own production house

Tamil actor Surya is set to add a new profession to his profile. Being successful as an actor, Surya came up with the non-profitable organisation, Sri Sivakumar Educational and Charitable trust for a noble cause. The trust was named after his father and famous producer Sivakumar., and is successful in serving the needy.

After the Singam storm, the actor is planning to start his sequel thunder releasing of Singam 2, Duraisingam has geared up to start a private production house, in which he is planning to produce low budget films. Sources said that, Surya has named the production house as D2 Entertainment, which is named after his children Dev and Divya.

Report says that, the main motto of forming a production house is to encourage new talent and promote interesting films. However, Surya has cleared that the production house will be independently working apart from his cousins' Studio Green, which manages the dates of Surya and Karthi.

Sources say that, many of his contemporaries have come up with production houses and running it profitably, which led Surya to start with the production house. Apart from giving quality films Surya's production house is expected to present new talents for the industry
