Thalaivaa, Chennai Express - Blend Of Cross-Culture
The much anticipated movie of the year, Ilayathalapathy Vijay starrer Thalaivaa is all set to hit big-screen this week. On August 9, Thalaivaa is likely to lock horns with Bollywood King Khan Shahrukh starrer Chennai Express.
Vijay's Thalaivaa is based on Mumbai underworld, and most of the movie is shot in Mumbai which caters large number of Tamil speaking people.
On the other hand, Chennai Express is about the journey of a man from Mumbai to Rameshwaram, where he falls in love with the daughter of a local goon. Interestingly, most of the movie is shot in South India apart from Mumbai.
Thalaivaa being a South movie, it is about Mumbai underworld, whereas the Bollywood movie, Chennai Express is mainly featured to impress South audience.
