Thalaivaa Music Review
Much-awaited Thalaivaa album has finally hit the stand today (June 21). The movie starring Vijay and Amala Paul has the music of GV Prakash Kumar, who had earlier composed music for director AL Vijay's successful movies like Kireedam, Madrasapattinam and Deiva Thirumagal. Thalaivaa has six songs for which Na Muthukumar has penned the lyrics. Benny Dayal, Sheezay, Saindhavi, Kiran, Vijay Prakash, Megha, Haricharan and Pooja have sung the songs. 'Yaar Indha Saalaioram' is the second number in the album. Real-life couple, GV Prakash Kumar and Saindhavi have crooned the soft number. It is a beautiful romantic track and brings the romantic mood. Well, their chemistry has worked once again.

It is the 25th song of actor Vijay as a singer and it could not have been been better as Illayathalapathy has wonderfully crooned 'Vaanganna Vanakkanganna' number. It is a love-failure song and is blended with broken philosophies.

It is an ear-pleasing number crooned by Vijay Prakash and Megha. The singers have crooned well and its track runs on a good pace. The music director also gives a good instrumental beats to the number.

'Thalaivaa Thalaivaa' is set to take Vijay fans by storm. It is the title track with some powerful lines which remind us of 90s mass songs. The beats provided by GV Prakash is excellent. Surely, it is one of the best title songs in 2013.

GV Prakash Kumar has used interesting instrumentals to make it a memorable theme track. It is the instrumentation of the interlude beats of 'Yar Indha Saalai Oram'.

Verdict
Verdict: GV Prakash Kumar has composed the songs keeping new-age audience in mind. Thalaivaa album simply cannot be ignored.
