Thillu Mullu gets clean chit

Shiva-starrer forthcoming Tamil comedy Thillu Mullu, a remake of superstar Rajinikanth's cult comedy of the same name, has been cleared with a U-certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification.

After watching the movie, the members of the board felt that the film is watchable by all section of audience. "The censor board has given a 'U' certificate with no cuts to Thillu Mullu. It'll release worldwide on June 14," said a statement from the production house.

The Rajinikanth-starrer 1981 Tamil comedy Thillu Mullu was the official remake of Hindi film Golmaal featuring Amol Palekar. It has been again remade with the same name, but with an all-new cast.

Thillu Mullu is produced by S Madhan and it is directed by Badri. The film also features Isha Talwar, Prakash Raj, Kovai Sarla, Sathyan, Soori, Manobala and Santhanam.
