Thulasi isn't pairing up with Vijayakanth's son

Southern actress Karthika Nair has denied the reports, which claimed that her sister Thulasi will be pairing up with veteran actor Vijayakanth's son in an upcoming Tamil film.

She took Twitter to clarify the rumours. Karthika wrote, "Guys, the recent issue of Ananda Vikadan magazine said that Thulasi is acting with Vijaykanth sir's son is false."

It was reported that Thulasi has been roped in to romance Shanmuga Pandian, youngest son of veteran actor-turned-politician Vijayakanth. The actress made her acting debut in this year release Kadal directed by maverick filmmaker Mani Ratnam. She was paired up with Gautham Karthin in the flick, which failed miserably at Tamil Box Office.

Thulasi recently finished shooting for upcoming Tamil action Yaan directed by cinematographer-turned-director Ravi K Chandran alongside Jeeva. On the other end, Karthika is busy shooting for Brindavana, Kannada remake of Telugu blockbuster Brindavanam.

Thulasi and Karthika are daughters of yesteryear Tamil actress Radha Nair.
