There is nothing that will match the joy of watching movies along with family and friends on a festival day or holiday. Upcoming festival Ganesha Chathurthi will be grandly celebrated across the country, on September 9, 2013.

Leading television channels such as Vijay TV, Sun TV, Kalaingar TV and Jaya TV have planned to treat their audience with a few exciting Blockbuster Tamil movies. It also looks like the television channels have specifically aimed at Ilayathalapathy Vijay fans by showing four of the actor's superhit movies on this occasion.

Along with Vijay's movies, the TV channels have also planned to make Ganesh Chathurthi colourful by bringing the superstars to your home with the special programmes.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay, who gave a feast for his fans on Eid festival with Thalaivaa, is now coming to your home in small screen with the movies like Thuppakki, Kaavalan, Kuruvi and Velayudham. These movies are scheduled on September 9.

Along with this there are few other movies that will be aired on the Ganesha Chathurthi. Movies like Kalakallapu, Venaghai and Naanee are few other movies that will be aired in Sun TV, on September 9. So, sit and enjoy the special programmes and movies on festival.

Thuppakki

The movie has Ilayathalapathy Vijay and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles. It is directed by AR Murugadoss. Tune into Vijay TV at 7 pm on September 9.

Velayudham

Velayudham has Vijay, Hansika Motwani, Genelia D'Souza and Santhanam in the important roles. It is directed by Jayam Raja. The movie will be played on Jaya TV.

Kaavalan

The movie will be showed on Sun TV. Kaavalan has Vijay and Asin in the lead roles and it is directed by Siddique.

Kuruvi

Kuruvi starring Vijay, Trisha Krishnan, Vivek and Suman in the lead roles, will be aired in Kalaingar TV

Kalakalappu

The movie was released in 2012. It has Vimal, Anjali, Oviya, Shiva and Santhanam in the lead roles. Kalakalappu will be played on Sun TV at 11 am.

Venghai

Dhanush starrer Venghai, which was released in 2011, will be showed on Sun TV at 2.00 pm. Along with Dhanush, the movie has Tamanna Bhatia, Prakash Raj and Rajkiran in the lead roles.

Naanee

Naanee will be showed on Sun TV at 6.30 pm on September 9. The movie has Sudeep, Samantha Ruthu Prabhu and Naani in the lead roles. It is dubbed version of Telugu blockbuster Eega.

Ethir Neechal

Sivakarthikeyan starrer Ethir Neechal will be telecast on Vijay TV at 3:00 pm. The movie has Sivakarthikeyan and Priya Anand in the lead roles.

Darling Darling

Watch the special programme Darling Darling on Vijay TV at 2:00 pm. The programme will be presided over by actor Arya and Nayantara, who will be shortly seen in Raja Rani.
