Vijay Plays Street Smart In Jilla

Vijay will be playing an interesting role in forthcoming movie Jilla. The Illayathalapathy will be seen in the role of a street smart in the much-hyped Tamil movie.

According to director Nesan, the title Jilla is the nick name of Vijay in the flick. The actor plays the role of a street-smart and he enacts the character of a sarcastic man. His role will be different comparatively with the roles that he played in his last few flicks. The story of the film revolves around the relationship of Vijay and Mohanlal.

The director adds that when he started penning the script, Mohanlal was not in his mind but gradually he realised that the he would perfectly suit the role in Jilla. Vijay also approved the idea and the Malyalam superstar did not have any qualm to act in the movie, as he liked the script.

Nesan ends on the note that Jilla has all the necessary ingredients of an entertainer. Actions, comedies, fights and dances are all part of the Tamil movie.

Jilla is produced by RB Chaudhary, the father of the actor Jeeva. Kajal Aggarwal plays the female lead role. Goundamani, Mahat Raghavendra, Soori, Poornima Bhagyaraj, Niveda Thomas, Brahmanandam, Thambi Ramaiah, Vidyullekha Raman, Ravi Mariya and others are in the cast.

While D Imman is scoring the music, Natarajan Subramaniyam is handling the cinematography department.
